Gotta agree with Kel on this!

I listened to the new radio station she discussed yesterday on her blog: 104.5 Jack-FM. I have to say that I loved it. I understand the complaint about no actual deejay, but for me, deejays get in the way of music. When I want to hear talk, I listen to NPR. But if I am in the mood for some tunes, deejays just piss me off and take time away from the music. So Jack is right up my alley. Plus, they play the coolest mix of music. And it is like a little game for me, a sort of "Name that Tune" on acid!

This morning, on my commute, I heard the following artists: Def Leppard, Chaka Khan, Pink Floyd (three artists which go together like bologna, peanut butter, and Chicken McNuggets), Sarah McLachlan, Bruce Springsteen, Huey Lewis & the News, and something that I thought was "Philadelphia Freedom" when it started, but then it sounded like the Bee Gees on idea. But come on, people!!!! Chaka Khan and Pink Floyd - that kicks ass! Yeah, you could get that on your iPod...if (1) you had one, or (2) you had the foresight to download both Pink Floyd and Chaka Khan on your iPod!!!!

I love Jack. He makes me happy. And that is all that matters in my world!
